Voici surement le " méchant" le plus dangereux des aventures de Tintin, le docteur Müller.Dans ce petit album, Michael Farr nous explique que Hergé s'est inspiré de plusieurs sources pour aboutir à la création de ce personnage plutôt sinistre. L'actualité de l'époque ( nous sommes en 1937 ), le roman d'espionnage de John Buchan , Les 39 marches ainsi que le film de Hitchcock du même nom.Le résultat, c'est que dans l'Ile Noire, quand on découvre le docteur Müller, on ne peut s'empêcher de le craindre car on sent que cet homme est dangereux .Il réapparaitra dans Au pays de l'Or Noir sous une autre identité ( le professeur Smith ) ainsi que dans Coke en Stock où on le retrouve sans plaisir sous le nom de Müll Pacha.J'avoue que personnellement, je trouve que c'est le méchant le plus sinistre de la galerie de personnages créés par Hergé . Contrairement à Rastapopoulos, qui arrivait à me faire sourire, Müller n'est absolument pas un personnage qui prête à cela.
